Are you excited for Spider-Man: Brand New Day 2026 new movie coming up? Its release date will be July 31st  2026, with actors being Tom Holland (Peter Parker), Zendaya (MJ), Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon (Ned),Marc Ruffalo (Haulk), Eman Esfandi, & many more. Some people may be asking, ¿who is the bad guy in Spider-Man Brand New Day? Based on recent 2026 rumors and trailer analysis for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day film, the main villain is thought to be William Mezer (played by Trel Tilman) or the Jackel. The film reportedly features multiple villains including Tombstone, Scorpion, Boomerang, Tarantula, and The Hand. 

Spider-Man: Brand New Day follows four years that have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city – a full-time Spider-Man – but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced. 

The movie is described as a “fresh start” that explores a “profound and unique” chapter in Peter Parker’s life. The film is expected to be a major part of the MCU’s future, with potential connections to the “mutant saga”.

I got to interview my sister Gema Briseño Veloz (Junior here at AHS) about the new Spider-Man and this is what she said. 

Are you excited for the new Spider-Man movie? Why?

“Yes I am because I am excited to see what the new movie holds for the new phase of Spider-Man.”

What did you like and did not like about the new Spider-Man 4 trailer? 

“I liked seeing Tom Holland in his new Spider-Man suit and I did not like seeing him so lonely without his girlfriend MJ and his friend Ned and Happy.”

What predictions do you have for the new Spider-Man movie?

“I predict that MJ will figure out again that Peter Parker is Spider-Man.”

Spider-Man: Brand New Day se sitúa cuatro años después de los acontecimientos de No Way Home; Peter es ahora un adulto que vive en total soledad, tras haberse borrado voluntariamente de las vidas y los recuerdos de sus seres queridos. Combatiendo el crimen en una Nueva York que ya no conoce su nombre, se ha entregado por completo a la protección de su ciudad  – siendo un Spider-Man a tiempo completo. Sin embargo, a medida que las exigencias sobre él se intensifican, la presión desencadena una sorprendente evolución física que amenaza su propia existencia, justo cuando una extraña y nueva pauta delictiva da origen a una de las amenazas más poderosas a las que jamás se haya enfrentado.

La película se describe como un “nuevo comienzo” que explora un capítulo “profundo y único” en la vida de Peter Parker. Se espera que la película constituya una parte fundamental del futuro del UCM, con posibles conexiones con la “saga mutante”. 

Además de eso, tuve la oportunidad de entrevistar a mi hermana Gema Briseno Veloz (estudiante de tercer año aquí en AHS) sobre la nueva película de Spider-Man, y esto fue lo que dijo:

¿Estás emocionada por la nueva película de Spider-Man? ¿Por qué?

“Sí, lo estoy, porque me entusiasma ver qué nos depara la nueva película para la nueva fase de Spider-Man.”

¿Qué te gustó y qué no te gustó del nuevo tráiler de Spider-Man 4?

“Me gustó ver a Tom Holland con su nuevo traje de Spider-Man, y no me gustó verlo tan solo, sin su novia MJ, ni su amigo Ned, ni Happy.”

¿Qué predicciones tienes para la nueva película de Spider-Man?

“Predigo que MJ volverá a descubrir que Peter Parker es Spider-Man.”
