Hosted annually in the California desert, it brings together fans from across the whole world for two unforgettable weekends of music and art. I kid you not, I heard so many languages in the span of an hour at Coachella, this proves how music is one of the most universal things. Over the years, countless iconic artists have taken the stage, creating moments that live on far beyond the festival grounds. This year’s headliners were Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G. It was an experience that truly showed me why this festival is so special. 
One unique aspect of Coachella is the two weekend format. The same lineup performs across both weekends, giving more people the chance to attend. Weekend one is often considered the more hyped of the two because it attracts a large number of influencers and celebrities and kicks off the festival season with major buzz. Weekend two, while sometimes seen as more laid back, has its own perks. The biggest perk is that the artists know it is more of the real fans attending and not just influencers for the hype so they might hold some special surprises for their fans. This year especially, many artists brought out surprise guests, making it better than weekend 1. The most memorable moments included Addison Rae bringing out Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Bieber sharing the stage with SZA, and Karol G performing alongside J Balvin.
Coachella stands out not just for its popularity, but for its diversity in music. In a single day, you can move from jazz to techno, from pop to rap, discovering new artists and experiencing different styles all in one place just a 10 minute walk from each other. It’s the variety that makes the festival feel like more than just a concert. It’s a celebration of music in all its forms.
Day 1:
The first day set the tone for the entire weekend. Performers like Sabrina Carpenter, Ethel Cain, and KATSEYE delivered memorable sets that energized the crowd. One of the most unforgettable moments came during Sabrina Carpenter’s performance, which felt like a full circle moment in Coachella history. She brought out the legendary Madonna, who had headlined the same stage exactly 20 years prior. It was a powerful blend of past and present, showing how Coachella connects generations of music. There was another full circle moment from her performance. Two years prior to taking the main stage, Sabrina had performed her first Coachella. She did an outro to her song with a twist to it, she sang, “Coachella, see you back here when I headline.” The next time she performed at Coachella, which was this year, she was a headliner.
Day 2:
Day two advanced the excitement even further. Artists like Addison Rae, Justin Bieber, Giveon, and PinkPantheress kept the energy high throughout the day. Special guest appearances became a major 
highlight. Addison Rae surprised the audience by bringing out Olivia Rodrigo to perform a song that had just been released the day before. This collaboration took the fans by surprise. Giveon followed by inviting Teddy Swims and Snoop Dogg to join him, while PinkPantheress brought out Zara Larsson. The night reached its peak when Justin Bieber took the main stage. Watching this performance was just life 
changing. Waiting for 3 hours did end up being worth it after his performance. His performance blended his old songs mixed with his new songs. He brought out an impressive lineup of guests, including Dijon, Sexyy Red, Big Sean, SZA, and even Billie Eilish, who joined him for his iconic One Less Lonely Girl moment, a callback to his earlier tours. Despite not getting home until 5 a.m., the night was unforgettable and truly defined what Coachella meant to me.
Day 3:
The final day brought the festival to a strong close. Artists like Laufey, Young Thug, and Karol G stood out, each delivering performances that captivated the audience. Laufey had amazing vocals and brought jazz to the desert, she surprised the fans with some amazing visuals. Young Thug did an amazing drone show for his fans. But Karol G, in particular, ended the weekend on a high note by bringing 
out Peso Pluma, Becky G, and J Balvin. These collaborations created an electric atmosphere and showcased the global reach of her music. She brought together the Hispanic community in a time when it is needed most. Her performance was a mix of culture and identity, showing us that she is proud to be Colombian.
Some may think that Coachella is just music, but it also includes many art installations, food stands, photo opps, pop ups, and many more things. Some noticeable art installations are the rainbow tower, seen in basically everyone’s Coachella photo dumps. Also, many brands have pop ups in order to promote themselves. Most noticeably, Starbucks was there and they brought back the 2016 hype by giving away free Unicorn Frap. Also Mini Verse was there giving out some mini freebies, alongside others.
Overall, Coachella is more than just a music festival, it’s an experience that brings people together through a shared love of music and creativity. From surprise guest appearances to unforgettable performances, every moment feels unique. Whether you attend for the headliners, discover new artists, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, Coachella offers something for everyone. It’s a place where memories are made, and for me, it was an experience I will never forget.

A lo largo de los años, muchos artistas icónicos se han presentado en el escenario principal, creando momentos que viven sobre el festival. El segundo fin de semana, aunque a veces se describe como más relajado, tiene sus propias ventajas. Lo más importante es que los artistas saben que hay más fans reales y no solo personas buscando la tendencia. Con eso, los artistas preparan sorpresas especiales. Este año en particular, muchos artistas llevaron invitados sorpresa, haciendo que el segundo fin de semana sea mejor que el primer. Los momentos más memorables fueron Addison Rae invitando a Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Bieber compartiendo el escenario con SZA, y Karol G presentándose junto a J Balvin.

Los artistas de sorpresa se convirtieron en uno de los mayores impactos del día. Addison Rae sorprendió al público al invitar a Olivia Rodrigo para interpretar una canción que había salido el día anterior de Olivia, tomando a todos por sorpresa. Giveon continuó con la emoción al invitar a Teddy Swims y Snoop Dogg, mientras que PinkPantheress llevó a Zara Larsson al escenario. La noche alcanzó su punto máximo cuando Justin Bieber subió al escenario principal. 
Ver su presentación fue realmente impactante. Esperar tres horas valió completamente la pena. Su show combinó canciones clásicas con nuevas, creando una experiencia muy especial. Invitó a varios artistas, incluyendo Dijon, Sexyy Red, Big Sean, SZA y hasta Billie Eilish, quien participó en su icónico momento de One Less Lonely Girl, recordando sus primeras giras. Laufey impresionó con su increíble voz, llevando el jazz al desierto con visuales sorprendentes. Young Thug ofreció un espectáculo de drones para sus fans. Pero Karol G en particular, cerró el fin de semana por todo lo alto al invitar a Peso Pluma, Becky G y J Balvin. Estas colaboraciones crearon una atmósfera excitante y mostraron el alcance global de su música. También logró unir a la comunidad latina en un momento en el que era especialmente significativo. Su presentación fue una mezcla de cultura e identidad, demostrando con orgullo sus raíces colombianas.
Algunos piensan que Coachella es solo música, pero también incluye instalaciones artísticas, puestos de comida, espacios para fotos, pop ups y mucho más. Una de las instalaciones más conocidas es la torre arcoíris, que aparece en muchas publicaciones del festival. Además, muchas compañías utilizan espacios para promocionarse. Por ejemplo, Starbucks estuvo presente reviviendo la emoción de 2016 al regalar el famoso Unicorn Frap. También hubo otras marcas que ofrecían regalos y experiencias para los asistentes.
