Having been on cruises before, I thought I knew what to expect, but this 8-day trip on the Carnival Vista still felt different. From April 18 to April 26, I spent eight days traveling to tropical destinations, relaxing on beautiful beaches, and making memories with my family.

One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Eagle Beach in Aruba. The sand was soft, the water was super clear, and everything felt calm and peaceful. My family rented an umbrella, which made it easier to stay out there longer and relax without worrying about the sun. Spending that time with my family, just sitting together and enjoying the view, made it even more special.

Another stop that stood out to me was Mambo Beach in Curaçao. It felt like a coral cove, with bright blue water and a more lively environment. There were people everywhere, music playing, and a lot to explore. Walking around and experiencing it with my family made it fun, especially since it had a completely different vibe compared to Aruba.

I also visited Celebration Key, Carnival Cruise Line’s new private island. While I was there, my family rented two over-the-lagoon cabanas at Starfish Lagoon. Being right over the water made the experience feel even more special. It was relaxing to just sit there with my family, enjoy the view, and spend time together in a peaceful setting.

Spending time with my family was a big part of what made the trip special. One family member shared that their favorite destination was Curaçao, especially being able to walk through the town and experience the culture firsthand. They also mentioned that some of their favorite moments were doing the ropes course together and enjoying specialty dining with the adults, which made the trip feel more memorable.

They also said they would definitely go on another cruise, explaining that being able to travel as a family and visit places they never imagined growing up made the experience feel “priceless,” even joking that younger generations don’t always realize how special those opportunities are.

Back on the ship, there was always something going on. One of my favorite parts was Club O2, which is a space just for teens. It gave me a chance to meet new people and hang out with others my age, while still being able to go back and spend time with my family whenever I wanted. There were games, music, and different activities, so it never felt boring.

Aside from Club O2, the ship had so many options, from live shows and entertainment to different food spots and places to relax. Whether I was exploring with my family or doing my own thing, there was always something to enjoy.

Overall, even though this wasn’t my first cruise, it still stood out as a memorable experience. From relaxing on Eagle Beach to experiencing Celebration Key and meeting new people at Club O2, every part of the trip felt meaningful. It’s definitely something I would want to experience again in the future.

Habiendo estado en cruceros antes, pensé que sabía qué esperar, pero este viaje de 8 días en el Carnival Vista aún se sintió diferente. Del 18 de abril al 26 de abril, pasé ocho días viajando a destinos tropicales, relajándome en playas hermosas y creando recuerdos con mi familia.

Uno de los momentos más destacados de mi viaje fue visitar Eagle Beach en Aruba. La arena era suave, el agua súper clara y todo se sentía tranquilo y pacífico. Pasar ese tiempo con mi familia, simplemente sentados juntos y disfrutando la vista, lo hizo aún más especial.

Otra parada que me llamó la atención fue Mambo Beach en Curazao. Se sentía como una cala de coral, con agua azul brillante y un ambiente más animado. Había gente por todas partes, música sonando y mucho por explorar. Caminar y vivir esa experiencia con mi familia fue divertido, especialmente porque tenía un ambiente completamente diferente al de Aruba.

También visité Celebration Key, la nueva isla privada de Carnival Cruise Line. Mientras estaba allí, mi familia alquiló dos cabañas sobre el agua en Starfish Lagoon. Estar justo sobre el agua hizo que la experiencia se sintiera aún más especial. Fue relajante simplemente sentarse ahí con mi familia, disfrutar la vista y pasar tiempo juntos en un ambiente tranquilo.

Pasar tiempo con mi familia fue una gran parte de lo que hizo especial el viaje. Un miembro de mi familia comentó que su destino favorito fue Curazao, especialmente por poder caminar por la ciudad y experimentar la cultura de primera mano. También mencionó que algunos de sus momentos favoritos fueron hacer el circuito de cuerdas juntos y disfrutar de comidas especiales con los adultos, lo que hizo que el viaje fuera más memorable.

También dijo que definitivamente volvería a hacer otro crucero, explicando que poder viajar en familia y visitar lugares que nunca imaginó conocer al crecer hizo que la experiencia se sintiera “invaluable”, incluso bromeando que las generaciones más jóvenes no siempre se dan cuenta de lo especiales que son esas oportunidades.

De regreso en el barco, siempre había algo que hacer. Una de mis partes favoritas fue Club O2, que es un espacio solo para adolescentes. Me dio la oportunidad de conocer gente nueva y convivir con personas de mi edad, mientras aún podía regresar y pasar tiempo con mi familia cuando quisiera. Había juegos, música y diferentes actividades, así que nunca se sentía aburrido.

Además de Club O2, el barco tenía muchas opciones, desde espectáculos en vivo y entretenimiento hasta diferentes lugares para comer y relajarse. Ya fuera explorando con mi familia o haciendo mis propias actividades, siempre había algo que disfrutar.

En general, aunque no era mi primer crucero, aun así destacó como una experiencia memorable. Desde relajarse en Eagle Beach hasta conocer Celebration Key y hacer nuevos amigos en Club O2, cada parte del viaje se sintió significativa. Definitivamente es algo que me gustaría volver a experimentar en el futuro.
