Los Angeles Dodgers World Series Championships

LA DODGERS ARE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!! YES THAT’S WHAT YOU HEARD. On Nov 1, 2025, around 8:00pm. The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays with a score of 5-4 in Game 7 of the World Series to win the championship. 

There were 44,713 people at the Dodgers game against the Blue Jays. This unbelievable match full of screams, tears, sadness, and happiness took place in Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. 

The Blue Jays held a 4-2 lead in the eighth inning. Miguel Rojas hit a game-tying solo home run for the Dodgers in the top of the ninth inning. Will Smith hit a home run in the top of the eleventh inning that proved to be the game winner. 

Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who had started Game 6 the previous night, came in on relief in the ninth and pitched 2 ⅔ scoreless innings to earn the win. 

The Dodgers won the best-of-seven series 4-3, becoming the first team in 25 years to win consecutive World Series titles. The team has won nine World Series titles and 26 NL pennants and lost 14 World Series. 

We as Dodger fans know that they are the world’s best baseball team in the world. The Los Angeles Dodgers are a prominent Major League Baseball (MLB) team competing in the National League’s West Division. 

Founded in 1884 as the Brooklyn Atlantics, the team underwent several name changes before officially becoming the Dodgers in 1932. The team allowed the Brooklyn baseball writers to select a permanent name, and the writers chose Dodgers on January 22, 1932. The only other nickname seriously considered by the writers was Kings. From the 1940s through the mid-1950s, the Dodgers had a fierce crosstown rivalry with the NY Yankees. 

The clubs have faced each other in the World Series seven times, with the Dodgers losing the first five matchups before winning the franchise’s first title in 1955. 

The team played their first four seasons at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum before moving to their current home of Dodger Stadium in 1962.  

In 1941, the Dodgers captured their third National League Pennant, only to lose to the New York Yankees. The Dodgers won more pennants in 1966, 1974, 1977, and 1978, but lost in each World Series appearance.

They won the World Series again in 1981 behind the pitching sensation “Fernando Valenzuela.” They won the Series in seven games to the Houston Astros, which would later be revealed to have been stealing signs

The Dodgers repeated as pennant-winners in 2018 but lost the World Series to the Boston Red Sox in 5 games. They took the pennant in 2020 in a season shortened by the COVID-19 to 60 games, and defeated the Tampa Bay Rays to win the World Series in 6 games. 

The Dodgers returned to the World Series in 2024, defeating the New York Yankees in 5 games. They returned to the World Series as defending champions in 2025, defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in 7 games. 

I got the chance to interview Emily Valdez, Senior here at AHS. I asked her questions about the Dodgers game on Nov 1,2025 against the Blue Jays. 

1. How do you feel about the Dodgers being World Series Champions? “I’m super happy to become 2 times champs. I’m very proud of the team and the dedication of winning. We were a few games behind in the series but we were able to pull through and win the whole series.”

1. What was your reaction when you found out that the Dodgers beat the Blue Jays on Monday Nov 1, 2025? “I was very happy to find that their hard work paid off, watching the few games before were very stressful and I know a lot of people doubted the Dodgers but in the end everything worked out.”

3. Do you think the Dodgers can still be World Series Champions? Why? “Yes, I definitely think so because this is the 2nd year being champs and if they did it twice they can do it a third time.”

4. Who would you like to see the Dodgers play against in their next match? “Anybody.” 

¡¡LOS DODGERS DE LOS ÁNGELES SON CAMPEONES DE LA SERIE MUNDIAL!! ¡SÍ, LO HAS OÍDO BIEN! El 1 de noviembre de 2025, alrededor de las 8:00 pm. Los Dodgers de Los Ángeles derrotaron a los Azulejos de Toronto con un marcador de 5-4 en el séptimo juego de la Serie Mundial para ganar el campeonato.

Hubo 44.713 personas en el partido de los Dodgers contra los Blue Jays. Este increíble encuentro, lleno de gritos, lágrimas, tristeza y alegría, tuvo lugar en el Rogers Centre de Toronto, Ontario, Canadá.

Los Blue Jays ganaron 4-2 en la octava entrada. Miguel Rojas conectó un jonrón solitario para empatar el juego para los Dodgers en la parte alta de la novena entrada. Will Smith conectó un jonrón en la parte alta de la undécima entrada que resultó ser el de la victoria.

El lanzador de los Dodgers, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, quien había abierto el Juego 6 la noche anterior, entró como relevista en la novena entrada y lanzó 2 ⅔ entradas sin permitir carreras para obtener la victoria.

Como aficionados de los Dodgers, sabemos que son el mejor equipo de béisbol del mundo. Los Angeles Dodgers son un equipo destacado de las Grandes Ligas de Béisbol (MLB), que compite en la División Oeste de la Liga Nacional.

1. ¿Qué sientes al saber que los Dodgers son campeones de la Serie Mundial? “Estoy súper feliz de ser campeones. Estoy muy orgullosa del equipo y de su dedicación para ganar. Íbamos perdiendo algunos juegos en la serie, pero logramos remontar y ganar.”

1. ¿Cuál fue tu reacción al enterarte de que los Dodgers vencieron a los Blue Jays el lunes 1 de noviembre de 2025? “Me alegró mucho ver que su esfuerzo dio frutos. Ver los partidos anteriores fue muy estresante y sé que mucha gente dudaba de los Dodgers, pero al final todo salió bien.”

1. ¿Crees que los Dodgers aún pueden ser campeones de la Serie Mundial? ¿Por qué? “Sí, definitivamente lo creo porque este es el segundo año que son campeones y si lo hicieron dos veces, pueden hacerlo una tercera.”

1. ¿Contra quién te gustaría ver jugar a los Dodgers en su próximo partido? “Contra cualquiera.”
