Emily Valdez is 16 years old and is a Senior. She is involved in ASB as Faculty Commissioner, a part of DLA since kindergarten, A.L.L.I.E.S for three years, PTSA for all four years and lastly Puente for all four years, while being a part of Puente cabinet for three out of the four years. Emily has danced Ballet Folklorico, a Mexican folk dance, for 11 and a half years. She is always ready to learn and very dedicated to succeed. On top of that she is bilingual, she speaks both English and Spanish. She is on her way to getting her Seal of Biliteracy at graduation. Emily enjoys listening to her music and having fun outside and inside of school. She is a student leader and student representative, never afraid to stand up for what she believes is right.

Emily Valdez tiene 16 años y está en el último año de secundaria. Participa en ASB como Comisionada de la Facultad, parte de DLA desde kínder, de A.L.L.I.E.S. durante tres años, de PTSA durante los cuatro años y, por último, de Puente durante los cuatro años, siendo parte del gabinete de Puente durante tres de los cuatro años. Emily ha bailado Ballet Folclórico, una danza folclórica mexicana, durante 11 años y medio. Siempre está dispuesta a aprender y muy dedicada al éxito. Además, es bilingüe: habla inglés y español. Está a punto de obtener su sello de bilingüismo en su graduación. A Emily le gusta escuchar música y divertirse tanto dentro como fuera de la escuela. Es una líder y representante estudiantil, y nunca teme defender lo que cree que es correcto.
