Controversy has spread since Donald Trump declared war on Iran in February of 2026. Newly appointed Pope Leo XIV has preached Jesus’ teachings against war. He believes in peace for every country just as Jesus would have wanted. With the feud between the MAGA regime and the Vatican, people within the U.S. are starting to side with the pope, even if they are atheists.

As Christians all over the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, President Trump had a special message to share with the world. On April 5th, Easter Sunday, Trump hid under his veil of faith to say, “Open the F—in’ Strait, you crazy b—s, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH”(Trump’s Easter Message Via Truth Social post). In contrast, Pope Leo’s Easter message promoted peace by announcing, “Let those who have weapons lay them down! Let those who have the power to unleash wars choose peace! Not a peace imposed by any force, but through dialogue!… We are growing accustomed to violence, resigning ourselves to it, and becoming indifferent.”

As citizens in America react to the Trump administration, Trump resorts to ignoring his fellow citizens. When a reporter began,  “Deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure violate the Geneva conventions and international law,” during the speech, Trump interrupted, “Who you with? Who you with?”

This feud has been going on ever since the start of the war with Iran. Recently, on April 13, the feud is still ongoing with Trump recently posting an AI image of himself as Jesus Christ. Now, as of April 14, Trump is facing backlash and has deleted the AI post. Simply stating, “It’s supposed to be like a doctor making people better.” According to the New York Times, “Leo, at the start of a trip to Africa, told reporters he had ‘no fear of the Trump administration.’ He added that he was not afraid of ‘speaking out loudly about the message of the Gospel, which is what I believe I am here to do.’” Later that day, JD Vance showed his support for the Trump administration by telling the Pope to “be careful” when talking about Theology.

So now we, the people, await what is to come of America. How will these feuds be ceased, and what will come of it? Alongside this, American Christians are starting to rethink being MAGA, while others tell them, “I told you so.”

Él cree en la paz para todos los países, tal como Jesús lo habría querido. Ante la disputa entre el régimen MAGA y el Vaticano, la gente dentro de los Estados Unidos está comenzando a ponerse del lado del Papa, incluso si son ateos.

Mientras los ciudadanos de los Estados Unidos reaccionan ante la administración Trump, este recurre a ignorar a sus conciudadanos. Cuando un reportero comenzó diciendo: “Los ataques deliberados contra la infraestructura civil violan los Convenios de Ginebra y el derecho internacional”, durante un discurso, Trump lo interrumpió: “¿De qué lado estás? ¿Con quién estás?” Esta disputa ha continuado desde el inicio de la guerra con Irán. Recientemente, el 13 de abril, la disputa seguía vigente, con Trump publicando una imagen generada por IA en la que apreció como Jesucristo. Ahora, el 14 de abril, Trump enfrenta una ola de críticas y ha eliminado la publicación de la IA, limitándose a declarar: “Se supone que es como un médico que cura a la gente.” Según el New York Times: “Leon, a un inicio de un viaje a África, dijo a los periodistas que no sentía ‘ningún temor hacia la administración de Trump.’ ” Añadió que no temía alzar la voz con fuerza sobre el mensaje del Evangelio, que es lo que creo que estoy aquí para hacer.” Más tarde ese día, JD Vance enseñó su apoyo a la administración de Trump a advertir el Papa que “tenga cuidado” cuando esté hablando de la teología.
