The all-new Animal Crossing New Horizons Nintendo Switch game has captivated the lives of many since its release on March 20th of 2020. With meticulous details, the creators of this game send you into your own little world, or should I say island to catch fish, greet your neighbors, and pay your house loan to Tom Nook. 

The game starts off with a mini cartoon. You purchase a deserted island package from Tom Nook and soon the fun and exploring begins. From cutting down trees, fishing in the river and sea, and catching bugs, you will then earn miles and bells to later spend them on goodies to decorate your home and island. Exploring your new deserted island with two other residents creates your all-time goal to improve your island and decorate it later for a warm welcome to invite new neighbors. Throughout the game, your character will delve into creating new DIY (Do It Yourself) that will also help with the decorating of your liking. 

This new Nintendo Switch game comes at the cost of $59.99 and can be sold in many video game stores. Although a bit pricey, it gives you a great experience, allowing you to play at your own pace, visit friends’ islands, and not rushing you to pay your loans. Many fans and newcomers of the game have rated it 4.3 out of 5 stars commenting on what their favorite part of the game was and how well the graphics have come out, from trees swishing back and forth with the wind, ripples in the water when it rains, and the waves coming in at the beach.
