Through free Dual enrollment courses at Fullerton College as early as your freshman year. It’s a great opportunity to start building your college GPA and gain college credit. So today, we’re going to talk more about some of the dual enrollment courses that have already been offered during the Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters at Fullerton College.
To begin with, in the past, Fullerton College has offered Psychology 101 in the Fall semester, giving students the opportunity to enhance their learning on the scientific study of the mind and behavior. Students learned how social factors can shape individuals and groups. This also included gaining new knowledge regarding interesting topics such as the states of consciousness, the importance of sleep, and Sensory memory. In this course, students were required to do their own research with the materials provided and write weekly essays related to the chapter of that week. This included essays on the importance of sleep and strategies to help retain memory.
Additionally, Fullerton College has also offered Communications 100 in the summer, where students had the opportunity to learn how to manage anxiety, structure presentations, and deliver messages confidentially. Students learned how to use effective body language and improve their verbal communication. In this course, students were required to give 1-5-minute speeches on the topic assigned to them that week, using the provided materials. It included weekly speech preparation assignments and individual research. Students are assigned groups and required to give feedback to at least 4 of their peers.

Esto es posible a través de cursos gratuitos de inscripción dual en Fullerton College, comenzando tan pronto como en su primer año de preparatoria. Es una gran oportunidad para empezar a construir su promedio de calificaciones (GPA) universitario y obtener créditos académicos. Esto no solo los acercará un paso más al cumplimiento de sus metas a largo plazo, sino que también los ayudará a prepararse para su futura carrera profesional. Aprovechen al máximo estas fantásticas oportunidades, si aún no lo han hecho, ya que pueden hacer que destaquen por encima del estudiante promedio al momento de solicitar su ingreso a las universidades durante su último año de preparatoria. Por ello, hoy hablaremos con más detalle sobre algunos de los cursos de inscripción dual que ya se han ofrecido durante los semestres de verano, otoño y primavera en Fullerton College.
Para empezar, en el pasado, Fullerton College ha ofrecido el curso Psychology 101 durante el semestre de otoño, brindando a los estudiantes la oportunidad de profundizar sus conocimientos sobre el estudio científico de la mente y el comportamiento. Los estudiantes aprendieron cómo los factores sociales pueden moldear a los individuos y a los grupos. Esto también incluyó la adquisición de nuevos conocimientos sobre temas interesantes, tales como los estados de conciencia, la importancia del sueño y la memoria sensorial. En este curso, se requirió que los estudiantes realizaran su propia investigación utilizando los materiales proporcionados y redactaran ensayos semanales relacionados con el capítulo correspondiente a esa semana. Estos ensayos incluyeron temas como la importancia del sueño y las estrategias para mejorar la retención de la memoria.
Además, Fullerton College también ha ofrecido el curso Communications 100 durante el verano, donde los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de aprender a manejar la ansiedad, estructurar presentaciones y transmitir mensajes con seguridad y confianza. Los estudiantes aprendieron a utilizar un lenguaje corporal eficaz y a mejorar su comunicación verbal. En este curso, se requirió que los estudiantes pronunciaran discursos de entre 1 y 5 minutos sobre el tema asignado para esa semana, utilizando los materiales proporcionados. Esto incluyó tareas semanales de preparación de discursos e investigación individual. Los estudiantes fueron asignados a grupos y se les exigió que brinden retroalimentación a, al menos, cuatro de sus compañeros.
