During the most recent Spanish and French Club meeting, members participated in a special activity dedicated to commemorating the Battle of Puebla while also strengthening their cultural and language learning experiences in both clubs.

The club presidents began the meeting by explaining the historical importance of the Battle of Puebla, reminding students how the Mexican army defeated the French forces on May 5, 1862. In addition to sharing historical facts, they also taught vocabulary words related to the celebration and culture in English, Spanish, and French, allowing all members to practice the three languages in a fun and interactive way.

The main activity of the meeting was an exciting game of “Human Battleship,” where students participated by representing both countries. The Spanish Club took the role of the Mexicans, while the French Club represented the French forces. Through laughter, strategy, and teamwork, students recreated a fun version of the historic battle.

At the end of the game, the Spanish Club claimed victory, once again defeating the French, just as it happened in the historical Battle of Puebla. The activity not only strengthened the bond between members, but also allowed students to learn history and practice languages in a dynamic and memorable way.

Durante la más reciente junta del Club de Español y Francés, los miembros participaron en una actividad especial dedicada a conmemorar la Batalla de Puebla y fortalecer el aprendizaje cultural y lingüístico de ambos clubes.

Los presidentes de los clubes comenzaron la reunión explicando la importancia histórica de la Batalla de Puebla, recordando cómo el ejército mexicano logró derrotar a las fuerzas francesas el 5 de mayo de 1862. Además de compartir datos históricos, también enseñaron palabras de vocabulario relacionadas con la celebración y la cultura en inglés, español y francés, permitiendo que todos los estudiantes practicaran los tres idiomas de una manera divertida e interactiva.

La actividad principal de la reunión fue un emocionante juego de “Battleship Humano,” donde los estudiantes participaron representando a ambos países. El Club de Español tomó el papel de los mexicanos, mientras que el Club de Francés representó a los franceses. Entre risas, estrategia y mucho trabajo en equipo, los estudiantes recrearon una divertida versión de la batalla histórica.

Al final del juego, el Club de Español logró la victoria, derrotando una vez más a los franceses, tal como ocurrió en la histórica Batalla de Puebla. La actividad no solo fortaleció la convivencia entre los miembros, sino que también permitió aprender historia y practicar idiomas de una manera dinámica y memorable.
