Thank You Mr. Derus
May 16, 2019
Dear Mr. Derus,
Thank you for teaching me how to play not one, but two instruments in your class. I never thought I would be able to play the ukulele and guitar and actually know how to play multiple songs. Now thanks to you I have learned how to play some of my favorite songs in your class. Also, thank you for getting us in trios and duos and giving us the skill to play as a group. I was very nervous about playing with other people but thanks to you I figured out it was very fun. Thank you for giving us honest critiques when we played our pieces and giving us compliments after every performance even when we messed up. Also for giving us tips and steps to improve our song for our next performance and believing in us. Thank you for the fun moments in your class. Then I thank you for helping with us performing our music. I was very nervous about performing in front of the class at the beginning of the year, but now I find it fun performing our song and watching everyone else’s performance. Finally, thank you for being a great teacher to us and turning us into true musicians. I had a fun year in your class and I am going to miss it once I am gone.
Sincerely,
Roger Garcia
