Thank You Ms. Driggers
May 8, 2019
Dear Ms. Driggers,
Thank you for everything you have done for us this year. You weren’t kidding when during those first weeks you told everyone that your advice isn’t just empty words. I am very grateful to have met you and to have taken your class. Without your help, I would not have been able to successfully fill out my first job application, I would not have been able to complete a professional resume, I would not have been able to get my job, and lastly, I would not have been able to keep it this long. My point is, you were not “BS-ing” about you preparing us for actual real life. You did your best to prepare us and to be honest, you did a great job preparing me. So thank you. Your wisdom and patience were not ignored, it made a difference for me, and if it affected me, then it is likely that it affected everyone else too. You were not just the best teacher I could have received for my sixth period, but the best influence and eye-opener I have ever met. You’re small lectures and words made a difference. Thank you, Ms. Driggers. I appreciate you.
Sincerely,
Your student, Nathan Arias
