Dear Mr.Pineda,

I want to start off by saying thank you for being the best math teacher. I didn’t have the best experience in my math class last year, so I was hoping to learn from my math teacher in my sophomore year. I  have certainly learned so much this year thanks to you and I am glad you were my teacher for Math ⅘. It seems like the numbers just never end, but I am certain we will use what we learned in real life situations. Your teaching methods help me fully understand the math concepts and I am proud of myself for having a good grade in your class. I can tell that you actually care about your students and whether they understand what you are teaching. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to comprehend everything you taught us, but with practice, I eventually knew how to do most of the math. You probably know that I don’t really talk much in class, but I ask my friends for help and ask them questions. Overall, we all help each other when we’re confused, but I should really consider asking you questions. I’ll keep that in mind with Mrs.Chaudhry next year. It was really helpful having quizzes every Friday because we were able to see for ourselves if we could actually do the math accurately. Although, I wasn’t always confident in doing the math, I was able to recognize my mistakes during test corrections. Math is a tough subject to teach students and you are doing an incredible job.

Sincerely,
