Dear  Mr. Ruelas,

Today, May 8, 2019, I took the AP test and I am now writing this letter for teacher appreciation week. I would like for you to know that you’re very much appreciated. Also, I am very thankful for your motivation today before my classmates and I took the AP Euro test, it truly helped as I was terrified because it was my first AP test. However, the fact that you believed in me, even when I didn’t, motivated me to not limit myself and give it my all.  I was afraid to take your class at first, thinking I’d fail but I remember you said “some kids aren’t meant to succeed and that choice is on them” I ended up signing up and have really remembered those words deeply in anything I do now, and for that I’m grateful. Those words may have sounded harsh to others but to me it now allows me to not doubt myself and to really give it my all if I truly wish to succeed. From helping with BROS, CROWN, Link Crew, etc. and being a great AP European teacher, you’ve really done all that you could to really put your part into each of these things. Thank you for your shouting, references, enthusiasm that really made me interested in the topics during class. Thank you for all that you have done and for all that you will continue to do.
