Creator of Marvel Dead at 95

On November 12, 2018 Stan Lee was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Lee later passed away at the age of 95. A few days before his death, Lee had said in an interview, “To me the most important thing is to keep busy, and I’m lucky to still keep busy.” Stan Lee was very active throughout all his life, even at the age of 95. Lee loved to participate in the production of all Marvel movies; he also appeared in many cameos. The news of his death shocked the entire world because Stan Lee always appeared to be very healthy. However, that was not the case. Stan Lee suffered from several medical conditions including pneumonia; later stated as the cause of death. Pneumonia is an infection that inflames air sacs in one or both lungs and is very common with people over the age of 65.

Many fans and actors gave tribute to Stan Lee; including, Robert Downey Jr, (Iron Man), Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Tom Holland (Spiderman), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and many more.

In the year 1961, Stan co-created Marvel alongside Jack Kirby with The Fantastic Four. After Marvel’s success, Lee continued to create new characters that were loved by many-  the Avengers and X-Men. In 2009, Iron Man the movie, premiered to the world, commencing the Marvel Universe. Robert Downey Jr. played the iconic role created by Stan Lee. It was the beginning of what is known as the most anticipated superhero movies of the century. Stan Lee’s legacy will live on in the hearts of Marvel fans and his extraordinary creations.
