On September 14, 2018, Anaheim High School held a homecoming assembly to introduce the homecoming dance event with spectacular performances revolving around a “Fast and the Furious” theme.
Hosts Jayleena Perez and Zizi Venegas first introduced our school’s Chambers Choir to sing the national anthem accompanied by NJROTC. They were the start to an assembly that would have the school wanting more. The Varsity Football team was then introduced as the cheerleaders came out showing off their stunts to show their support for their football team . Cheer stunned the crowd with show-n-go´s and shoulder stands!
ASB soon followed up with some trivia questions about the Fast and Furious movies and our students were very excited to show their interests in the sequels. Shortly after, Dance Production came out with an amazing performance showing classy yet exciting routines to the soundtrack of the “Fast and the Furious” franchise. Following that, Advanced Theatre came out with a script on “merging,” or coming together, when going to Homecoming. Theatre wanted everyone to understand that when two cars merge, they come together and at Homecoming, everyone connects as one to have a blast.
The end of the assembly appeared to be a success for ASB as they proved all their hard work to be worth it. The students cheered on all the performances and enjoyed every minute of the assembly. Everyone left the auditorium with joy and looked forward to the Homecoming Dance.
