In the world of language arts, we have many incredible teachers! One of them is Mrs. Jaime! She teaches various levels of Spanish and is teaching her second year of AP Spanish Literature. Between small lectures, art projects, and test prep, she keeps a bright smile and an even brighter atmosphere in her classroom! She loves to travel and has two wonderful children. Her students have no complaints, they truly enjoy her class! One of her Spanish literature students, Samantha Martinez says that Mrs. Jaime “is a great supportive teacher who brings out the best in her students.”
Mrs. Jaime’s class is far from stressful, most students find that it’s a place where they can re-center their focus and enjoy their time amongst their peers. While they are expected to get their work done, Mrs. Jaime doesn’t stop the class from speaking their mind. They often have class discussions and she participates! She believes in developing strong connections with her students, and communication is one of the best ways she does it! Her class isn’t awkward and silent, but an engaged and positive environment where learning and building strong bonds are celebrated!

Ella imparte clases de español en diversos niveles y está cursando su segundo año enseñando Literatura Española AP. Entre breves exposiciones, proyectos artísticos y preparación para exámenes, ¡ella mantiene una sonrisa radiante y un ambiente aún más luminoso en su aula! Le encanta viajar y tiene dos niños maravillosos. Sus alumnos no tienen queja alguna; ¡realmente disfrutan de su clase! Una de sus alumnas de literatura española, Samantha Martínez, comenta que la Sra. Jaime “es una gran maestra que brinda apoyo y saca lo mejor de sus estudiantes.”
La clase de la Sra. Jaime dista mucho de ser estresante; la mayoría de los alumnos la perciben como un espacio donde pueden reencontrar su concentración y disfrutar del tiempo en compañía de sus compañeros. Si bien se espera que cumplan con sus tareas, la Sra. Jaime no impide que los alumnos expresen sus opiniones con libertad. A menudo surgen debates en clase, ¡y ella participa activamente en ellos! Ella cree firmemente en la importancia de forjar vínculos sólidos con sus estudiantes, ¡y la comunicación es una de las mejores herramientas que emplea para lograrlo! Su clase no es un espacio incómodo ni silencioso, sino un entorno positivo y dinámico donde se celebra tanto el aprendizaje como la construcción de lazos fuertes.
