VAPA Día de los Muertos en Anaheim High School

El Día de los Muertos en Anaheim High School se celebra anualmente como una tradición que, además de honrar la cultura mexicana, permite a los distintos clubes estudiantiles recaudar fondos para excursiones, actividades académicas y eventos recreativos. Esta celebración se ha convertido en una de las más esperadas por la comunidad escolar, pues reúne a estudiantes, familias y personal educativo en un ambiente lleno de color, música y tradición.

En la edición del 2025, el evento destacó por la participación artística de diversos estudiantes que, con entusiasmo, presentaron números musicales y de danza. Entre las presentaciones más apreciadas estuvo el baile folclórico, que mostró la riqueza cultural de diversas regiones de México. Asimismo, algunos estudiantes interpretaron canciones representativas, fortaleciendo el sentido de identidad y orgullo escolar.

El ambiente festivo fue complementado con una amplia variedad de alimentos típicos. Se ofrecieron tamales, atole, aguas frescas y otros platillos tradicionales que los asistentes pudieron disfrutar mientras recorrían los distintos puestos instalados por los clubes. Cada puesto no sólo ofrecía comida, sino que también brindaba información sobre sus actividades y metas, promoviendo la participación estudiantil.

Además de la gastronomía, el evento contó con exhibiciones artísticas relacionadas con el Día de los Muertos. Entre ellas se encontraban calaveras pintadas y de azúcar, altares decorados con esmero y piezas de arte creadas por los propios estudiantes. Estas exhibiciones no sólo embellecieron el evento, sino que también ayudaron a preservar y difundir el significado cultural de esta importante tradición mexicana.

En conjunto, la celebración de este año fue un éxito, logrando unir a la comunidad escolar en un espacio de convivencia, aprendizaje y apreciación cultural.
