Meet our 2025-2026 class presidents here at Anaheim High School! Read their answers to our questions that tell us a little bit about them and what their plans are for their classes this school year. The questions we asked them were:
How do you feel in your position so far and what went into achieving this amazing accomplishment?
What impact do you wish to leave on not just your class but our school?
Meet our 2025-2026 Senior Class President, Carlos Ramirez. He has been in ASB all of his four years of high school, this year he is a part of AMP, he is very involved around campus, and has offered so much to this school and community. In response to the first question he said, “I feel good in my position so far, I feel like I’ve been doing more than I hoped so, so far I feel like I’ve accomplished much even though it’s the second month of school, and I do wish to accomplish more.” As you can see he has been doing many fun activities for his class one of which being our first class comp this past august which had a great turn out! “I would say I achieved this accomplishment by being in ASB for four years and showing what I was capable of by demonstrating my improvement throughout the years, and showing what kind of person I am and my work ethic through ASB.” Carlos has worked very hard throughout his high school career to give back as much as he can to this community through public service and much more! His response to the second question was, “I hope to leave the impact that people were able to look up to me and they were able to see my accomplishments and notice them and their able to say ‘oh he did this his year maybe we can do that’ I want them to see that they can actually accomplish things and try to do things I did but make them better and suited for their class and that they can also have unity within their class” Clearly, Carlos wants to leave a path that future classes can follow but also take creative freedom in making it their own, unique and special to them. “I wish to leave the impact that our class was, I don’t want to sound biased but, the best class and that there was actually like a unity within the class and it was noticeable that the class was actually able to talk with one another.”
Next up meet our 2025-2026 Junior Class President, Dayani Para. She has been in the dance program here at Anaheim High School for all her three years. She has been in dance production for the past two and is co-captain this year. She has also been in ASB for all of her three years and was also last year’s sophomore class president. She pours her heart and soul into any event she is in charge of. She is always open to feedback and constructive criticism as well as new ideas. In response to the first question she
said, “So far into this school year I feel great about my position, I previously held the same one my sophomore year, so it was not anything I was not ready for! I will say I was a little nervous coming in because of having to plan prom and so many important class events. But I think now that I am well adjusted to the year, I feel enthusiastic towards planning all my events!” Dayani is very prepared and excited for this school year given her past experience and without a doubt will do amazing. “Achieving this accomplishment wasn’t something I took lightly, as I was proud of myself for doing so! I think I have always had a great passion for wanting to help out my community, so just authentically showing my love to help my class and beyond really helped me achieve this position.” In her own words we can see that Dayani is very serious about this position and has a great passion for what comes with it. Her response to the final question was “I want to make your school a very open space, that is the impact I want to leave! To make sure students know that they are valued by everything around Anaheim High School when they step in. I truly care about our whole school and not just my class because I think the more we unite as a school, the better the outcome for everyone involved!”
Now meet our 2025-2026 Sophomore Class President, Esmeralda Muñeton. She has been in ASB since her freshman year. She was also in the dance program here at Anaheim High School her freshman year and this year she is on the cross country team. She is a person that is always open to learning more while making sure others feel heard and seen. In response to the first question she said, “Being in this role has been a big learning experience that I’m really grateful for. Something that went into achieving this position was the motivation and encouragement I received from other people and also wanting to make a difference for our class and understand what they need.” Esme has learned a lot and is still learning! And she is very determined to make a difference for our class. Her final response was, “An impact I wish to leave is kindness and inclusivity. I hope that by the end of the year, everyone feels like they have a place in our school where everyone feels valued and respected.” Esme has shown just how much she cares for not just her class but our school and community as a whole and is determined and focused to ensure inclusivity and support for it.
Lastly meet our 2025-2026 Freshman Class President, Jayden Reyes. He was in student council during middle school and has chosen to continue with ASB here at Anaheim High School. He has a great sense of fashion, is very sarcastic and easy to talk to. His response to the first question was, “I feel very proud in my position and happy to be in it. I think the reason for achieving this position was because I was myself and just being out there and showing what I’m capable of.” Jayden is very proud of this accomplishment, and it just goes to show that at the end of the day you should always be yourself and never pretend to be something or someone you aren’t. His final response was, “The impact I want to leave for the school when I move on from my position and when I graduate is that you don’t have to be a girl or be girly to join a leadership program or any program. And much less to become president of it, anyone can be president. I want to show that you can be and do anything as long as you put your mind into it.” He is breaking the gender “norms” of student council and ASB in public schools. That is something that not everyone can do.
Finally, we applaud our class presidents for leading us through these unforgettable years, giving back to the community, and welcoming everyone with open arms through events and activities that created lifelong memories.

Conoce a nuestro presidente de la clase senior 2025-2026, Carlos Ramírez.
Ha estado en ASB durante sus cuatro años de high school; este año forma parte de AMP, está muy involucrado en el campus y ha aportado mucho a nuestra escuela y comunidad. En respuesta a la primera pregunta, dijo: “Me siento bien en mi puesto hasta ahora, siento que he hecho más de lo que esperaba, así que hasta ahora siento que he logrado mucho, aunque apenas sea el segundo mes de clases, y quiero lograr aún más.” Como se puede ver, ha organizado muchas actividades divertidas para su clase, una de ellas fue nuestra primera competencia de clases en agosto, ¡la cual tuvo una gran participación! “Diría que logré este puesto por estar en ASB durante cuatro años y demostrar de lo que soy capaz, mostrando mi mejor a lo largo de los años, y mostrando qué tipo de persona soy y mi ética de trabajo a través de ASB.” Carlos ha trabajado muy duro durante su carrera escolar para retribuir tanto como pueda a esta comunidad a través del servicio público y mucho más. En respuesta a la segunda pregunta, dijo: “Espero dejar el impacto de que la gente pueda mirarme como ejemplo, que puedan ver mis logros y decir ‘oh, él hizo esto este año, tal vez nosotros podamos hacerlo también.’ Quiero que vean que sí pueden lograr cosas y tratar de hacer lo que yo hice, pero mejor y adaptado a su clase, y que también puedan tener unión dentro de su clase.”
Claramente, Carlos desea dejar un camino que las futuras clases puedan seguir, pero también con la libertad de hacerlo propio, único y especial. “Deseo dejar el impacto de que nuestra clase fue —sin sonar parcial— la mejor clase, y que realmente hubo unidad entre nosotros y que esa unión fue notoria.”
A continuación, conoce a nuestra presidenta de la clase junior 2025-2026, Dayani Para.
Ha estado en el programa de danza de Anaheim High School durante sus tres años de high school y ha formado parte del grupo de producción de danza por los últimos dos años; este año es co-capitana. También ha estado en ASB los tres años y fue presidenta de la clase sophomore el año pasado. Dayani pone todo su corazón en cada evento que organiza, siempre acepta críticas constructivas y está abierta a nuevas ideas. En respuesta a la primera pregunta, dijo: “Hasta ahora en este año escolar me siento muy bien con mi puesto. Ya había tenido el mismo puesto en mi segundo año, así que no era nada para lo que no estuviera preparada. Admito que estaba un poco nerviosa al principio por tener que planear el prom y muchos eventos importantes, pero ahora que ya me adapté al año, ¡me siento entusiasmada por planear todos mis eventos!” Dayani está muy preparada y emocionada por este año escolar gracias a su experiencia previa, y sin duda hará un trabajo increíble. “Lograr este puesto no fue algo que tomara a la ligera; me sentí muy orgullosa de mí misma por hacerlo. Siempre he tenido una gran pasión por ayudar a mi comunidad, así que mostrar auténticamente mi amor por ayudar a mi clase y más allá realmente me ayudó a lograr esta posición.”
Podemos ver que Dayani se toma muy en serio este puesto y siente una gran pasión por todo lo que conlleva. Su respuesta a la segunda pregunta fue: “Quiero que nuestra escuela sea un espacio muy abierto; ese es el impacto que quiero dejar. Quiero asegurarme de que los estudiantes sepan que son valorados por todo lo que los rodea en Anaheim High School desde que entran. Realmente me importa toda nuestra escuela y no solo mi clase, porque creo que mientras más nos unamos como escuela, ¡mejor será el resultado para todos!”
Ahora conoce a nuestra presidenta de la clase sophomore 2025-2026, Esmeralda Muñeton.
Ha estado en ASB desde su primer año. También participó en el programa de danza en su primer año y actualmente está en cross country. Es una persona siempre abierta a aprender más y se asegura de que los demás se sientan escuchados y valorados. En respuesta a la primera pregunta, dijo: “Estar en este puesto ha sido una gran experiencia de aprendizaje por la que estoy muy agradecida. Algo que me ayudó a lograrlo fue la motivación y el apoyo que recibí de otras personas, además del deseo de hacer una diferencia para nuestra clase y entender lo que necesitan.” ¡Esme ha aprendido mucho y sigue aprendiendo! Está muy decidida a marcar una diferencia para su clase. Su respuesta final fue: “El impacto que quiero dejar es la amabilidad y la inclusión. Espero que para el final del año todos sientan que tienen un lugar en nuestra escuela donde se sientan valorados y respetados.” Esme ha demostrado cuánto se preocupa no solo por su clase, sino también por toda la escuela y la comunidad, y está decidida a fomentar la inclusión y el apoyo.
Por último, conoce a nuestro presidente de la clase freshman 2025-2026, Jayden Reyes.
Estuvo en el consejo estudiantil durante la secundaria y decidió continuar con ASB aquí en Anaheim High School. Tiene un gran sentido de la moda, es muy sarcástico y es sumamente fácil de hablar con él. Su respuesta a la primera pregunta fue: “Me siento muy orgulloso de mi puesto y feliz de estar en él. Creo que la razón por la que logré este puesto fue porque fui yo mismo, mostrándome y demostrando de lo que soy capaz.” Jayden está muy orgulloso de este logro, lo cual demuestra que al final del día siempre debes ser tú mismo y no pretender ser alguien que no eres. Su respuesta final fue: “El impacto que quiero dejar en la escuela cuando termine mi puesto y me gradúe es que no tienes que ser una chica o tener una personalidad ‘femenina’ para unirte a un programa de liderazgo o cualquier otro programa. Y mucho menos para convertirte en presidente. Quiero mostrar que cualquiera puede ser presidente y lograr lo que quiera si se lo propone.” Está rompiendo los “estereotipos” de género dentro del consejo estudiantil y ASB, algo que no todos pueden hacer.
Finalmente, aplaudimos a nuestros presidentes de clase por guiarnos durante estos años inolvidables, por contribuir a la comunidad y por recibir a todos con los brazos abiertos mediante eventos y actividades que crearon recuerdos para toda la vida.
