As Disneyland approaches another year, new things are coming to Disneyland. Since, Disneyland will be celebrating its 100 years of magic this year, there will be a whole new Parade, Firework show and new attractions. The ride Splash Mountain will officially close its doors sometime this month and will be reimagined as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which will open next year.

Toontown will be opening again in early March and will look better than ever. There will be a new ride there called Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad opening by the end of this month. Tarzan’s Treehouse will be opening again in February.

Those are the new things being added at the Disneyland Park. In the California Adventure Park, some new things are also in the works. For entertainment, California Adventure will be showing an updated version of the World of Color with World of Color One, which will honor the “storytelling legacy of Disney’s first 100 years”. 

The Avengers Campus will be opening a new ride where guest will battle villains, including Thanos, alongside the Avengers and their allies. Disney announced that there will be other changes coming to the park, including a change in the park hopper time.

Starting February 4th, 2023, guests who have the Magic Key pass or buy the park hopper ticket, will be able to park hop at 11 a.m instead of 1 p.m. There will be a new Disneyland after dark event coming in March called Princess Nite. In February, Sweethearts Nite will be making a return to the park.
