PewDiePie vs T-Series update
Weeks ago, it seemed as if T-Series following list would surpass the most subscribed YouTuber, Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg- most commonly known as PewDiePie. T-Series was on track to pass Felix back in October of this year. This attracted huge attention amongst the Youtube community. Many did not want PewDiePie to lose the number one spot on Youtube to a huge company.
PewDiePie, who was about to get passed by T-Series, decided to film videos regarding the situation. As a consequence, he began gaining more subscribers. His fan base started sharing his videos and asking people to subscribe to him. This started an influx of new subscribers and soon, he was gaining more subscribers than T-Series. However, like all things on the internet, the campaign escalated very quickly.
Other Youtube creators wanted to hop on the PewDiePie vs T-Series popularity wave by asking people to subscribe to PewDiePie. One of the most popular Youtubers involved is Jimmy Donaldson or most known as Mr. Beast. He generated stunts towards the scandal by buying ad space in billboard’s throughout Los Angeles to help promote PewDiePie’s channel. Also, he released a new video on his channel saying “PewDiePie” 100,000 times. This proved to be successful for both PewDiePie and Mr.Beast because they gained a high amount of subscribers. Then, Felix’s friend on Youtube, Markiplier (who has millions of subscribers) made a video supporting him. As a result, PewDiePie gained an even greater amount of subscribers. PewDiePie is currently in the lead but he needs your help.
If you want to help PewDiePie defeat T-Series, you can subscribe to his Youtube channel to help him retain the number one spot.
