On Thursday, September 20th Anaheim High’s all-boys club, BROS, had a meeting in the career center during lunch to update its members about future events and introduce two special guests.

The meeting began around 12:10 in the afternoon. The members of the BROS cabinet spent the first ten minutes of the meeting informing the other members about their future field trips and events. They then presented the Secretary-Treasurer of the California Teachers Association, Mr. David Goldberg. He spoke to the members about his struggles growing up and how he believes that young leaders are important for the future of the nation.

Goldberg also informed the club that his visit was to report back to the CTA what the club was doing with the two $20,000 grants they had provided the organization. The club’s advisor, Mr. Ryan Ruelas, applied to the grants for two consecutive years. In addition, the president of the Anaheim Secondary Teachers Association, Mr. Grant Schuster, honored the young men for their hard work and dedication. The meeting concluded with a  group picture.
