El partido anual de fútbol americano iluminó el estadio con energía, familia, alumnos y ex alumnos se reúnen para celebrar una noche especial con orgullo y felicidad. El tema de este juego animó a los estudiantes a vestirse de azul y dorado, muchos seguían este tema, yo incluida. Las decoraciones que hizo ASB eran carteles, muchos globos y serpentinas. El juego empezó con las porristas, sosteniendo un cartel bien grande con música sonando del fondo cuando, de repente salieron todos los jugadores y rompen el póster. Personalmente, es mi parte favorita, y creo que de muchos más. En la primera mitad el juego, todo iba bien. El ambiente era muy divertido para todos presentes. Luego vino el “halftime show” donde pasó la coronación de Homecoming, todos los candidatos salieron en carros. Muchos padres estaban presentes durante este juego, porque a la mejor sus hijos eran candidatos para la posición de Homecoming rey o reina. Fue un momento bonito y orgulloso para los padres. También había comida para comer como nachos, Cheetos y bebidas. Entrevisté a Sebastian Viera, y él dijo que disfrutó el juego y el ambiente mucho con sus amigos. Lo describió como “estar en el momento” y le gustaba poder enseñar alegría para su escuela. Desafortunadamente, no ganamos, pero unas veces no se trata de eso, sino las memorias que creas con familia y amigos.
The annual football game lit up the stadium with energy as families, students, and alumni gathered to celebrate a night filled with pride and happiness. The theme for this game encouraged students to dress in blue and gold; many followed this theme, myself included. The decorations made by ASB included posters, lots of balloons, and streamers.
The game began with the cheerleaders holding up a huge banner while music played in the background, and then suddenly all the players ran out and broke through the poster. Personally, that’s my favorite part and I think for many others as well.
In the first half of the game, everything was going well. The atmosphere was fun and exciting for everyone present. Then came the halftime show, which included the Homecoming coronation. All the candidates came out in cars, and many parents were there because their children might have been candidates for Homecoming King or Queen. It was a beautiful and proud moment for the parents.
There was also food to enjoy, such as nachos, Cheetos, and drinks. I interviewed Sebastian Viera, and he said he really enjoyed the game and the atmosphere with his friends. He described it as “being in the moment” and liked being able to show school spirit. Unfortunately, we didn’t win, but sometimes it’s not about that, it’s about the memories you create with family and friends.
